Convention Scholarships
Each year NSH honors the best & brightest in histology through its Awards and Scholarships Program. NEW this year! NSH is offering 2 travel scholarships for the Convention.
Convention Travel Scholarship
These scholarships are intended to provide those in histology the opportunity to attend the NSH Convention to advance their education and knowledge in the field for those may not have the funds to do so. The scholarship can be used to cover costs of travel, hotel and food to attend the convention.
The scholarship includes complimentary registration to the 2023 NSH Convention.
- Must be a current NSH member
- Letter from Department Chair or Supervisor that supports financial need for the scholarship
- Letter of intent that includes why attending the convention is important to you.
- CV/Resume
Recipients receives a certificate and $750.

Convention Poster Travel Scholarship
These scholarships are intended to provide those in histology the opportunity to attend and present their research in the form of a poster presentation at the NSH Convention. The scholarship can be used to cover costs of travel, hotel and food to attend the convention.
The scholarship includes complimentary registration to the 2023 NSH Convention.
Requirements:
- Must be a current member
- Letter from Department Chair or Supervisor that supports financial need for the scholarship
- Letter of intent that includes why attending the convention is important to you and the topic you plan to present on
- Must submit a poster presentation for the NSH Convention. Please note: Your poster does not have to be submitted with the application. You may submit at a later date.
- CV/Resume
Recipients receives a certificate and $750.
