Yes, groups of 5 or more receive $25 off of each of their registration fees.


Because it is virtual you cannot attend the First Time Attendee Networking Reception as it is a physical event. 


Registration

If you are a current student member in the histology field, you are able to register for the event for a discounted rate.  You must enrolled at a NASCLS approved institution.  Your rate should automatically appear if you are qualified for this discount. 


Cancellations of Entire Registration: All cancellations must
be received in writing (email is acceptable) by August 18,
2023. Registrants who submit their cancellations in writing by
this date will receive a refund minus a $75.00 administrative fee.  Tickets to the Boxed Lunch Roundtable, guest passes and exhibit hall only passes are nonrefundable. Cancellations received after August 18, 2023, (without provisions for a substitute) and noshows are responsible for all convention fees. Cancellations will not be accepted by phone.

Cancellations of Individual Workshops: Cancellations for
learning labs are eligible for a refund if received by August 25, 2023; cancellations must be in writing (email is acceptable). After this date session costs will not be refunded. NSH reserves the right to cancel a workshop, express talk or learning lab due to circumstances beyond its control or for insufficient registration. Registrants for a canceled session will be notified immediately and allowed to substitute a session or obtain a full refund. The Society is not responsible for penalties incurred as a result of cancelled transportation or accommodations.

Cancellations, for any reason, will not be accepted for persons registering after the deadline of August 18, 2023. Substitutions will be accepted at any time, at no additional charge.

No cash exchange or refunds are provided on-site. Reimbursements are processed after the conclusion of the convention and will be sent to the payer.


NSH requires a unique email address per registration.  This email is used for communications between NSH staff and the registered attendee including the confirmation, workshop cancellations or changes, vendor announcements etc.  NSH will not register multiple people with one email address nor will NSH register an individual without an email address.

Full Conference Pass registration fee includes a welcome packet at check in, continental breakfast, admittance to workshops, the keynotes, the welcome reception, the exhibit hall, poster sessions, virtual on demand library and the event mobile app. Please note: To qualify for the student rate you must be an NSH Student member. 

Weekend Pass registration fee includes the event’s mobile app, a welcome packet at check in, continental breakfast, admittance to workshops, a keynote, the welcome reception, the exhibit hall and poster sessions on Saturday, Sept 9 & Sunday, Sept 10.

Virtual Pass registration fee includes access to all live streamed sessions, the on-demand library (for 14 days), digital poster gallery, roundtables and the event’s mobile app.
 

Guest Passes

Registered NSH attendees can register up to 1 guest for a fee of $119.00. Guest badges will provide access to the NSH Exhibit Hall, the continental breakfast, and the Saturday evening Welcome Reception. Guests are not permitted into workshops or general sessions.  Guests must be at least 18 years of age. Guest Passes are nonrefundable.

 

Exhibit Hall Only Passes

The trade show floor is open to qualified individuals in histology and pathology for a fee of $75.00. This ensures a high buyer/supplier ratio. Local technologists and pathologists unable to attend the meeting are welcome to visit the exhibits anytime during scheduled hours with an Exhibit Hall only pass.  Exhibit Hall Only passes solely include access to the Exhibits for all days the hall is open to attendees.  It does not include access to any networking events, workshops, continental breakfast, convention swag, or general sessions.  Unqualified family members of registered attendees & booth attendants are not permitted on the show floor. All registrants, including Exhibit Hall Only Passes, must be 18 years of age. Exhibit Hall Only passes are nonrefundable. Exhibit Hall Only passes are available for purchase starting August 1, 2023. 


Yes.  You are able to register with a Purchase Order,but you must include a copy of the PO.  Regsitrants are responsabile for submitting their invoice to their purchasing department and all balances must be paid by September 1, 2023 or your registration will be cancelled.

When logging into the Attendee Service Center you have access to change your contact information including your address, email and phone. If for some reason it was entered incorrrectly or your information has changed, you can log in and change whatever you need.

Workshops

Learning Lab Sessions provide in depth training on a subject by demonstrating a technique or process. Participants work with and are exposed to equipment, specimens, chemicals and reagents. To enhance the experience and access to the instructor, attendance is limited. Unlike Convention Workshops, Learning Labs require preregistration and incur additional fees.


Workshops:  All lecture style workshops are open and will be available as space permits.  You do not need to pay extra for lecture workshops, they are included with your registration fee.  When you check in to the registration desk you will receive a specific amount of tickets with your name on them.  You MUST hand in a ticket to enter and receive credit.  

Learning Labs: Learning Labs are hands on training options  are available to you as an added charge.  You will need to add these sessions when you register and there are limited in seats.
